In loving memory of Jeanie - Our Golden One.

Some view pets, as just animals while those who raise them know that they become much more than that; They become family. Unfortunately one of our family has embarked on her next journey.

She had such a great life and long. She camped in more national parks and state parks than most people ever will. She ran on the trails and swam in the rivers lakes and streams of these parks. She had more adventures in her 14 years than many people do in their life.

Jeanie will be greatly missed, but never forgotten as she will always be with us.

This is just a page to show images of the small, but happy home of NSN. While not much in size it does the job just fine. It is a 10 x 10 building with a POD dome on top and inside there is a 12" round cement pier on which the CGE PRO mount sits. With some help from my wife I was able to build this over a few months during the summer of 2008. Most the time the work was done at night to escape the heat of the day and on weekends a few hours at a time. There will be an addition made soon for a warm/cool room. Wish I had thought of the room when I started the build.

Of course no image of the N S N Observatory would be complete without showing the guardians of N S N. CHANCE and VENUS.

Location picked out.

The cement pier in place and floor being built.

The walls going up.

Ring construction and roof going in.

The Pod Dome ready to go on.

Dome up and on now.

Inside already for the equipment, cabling and work table.

The mount and OTA all set in their home ready to go. Celestron 14” SCT, CGE PRO mount, And the video camera is a Mallincam.

The guide scope and finder scope. 60mm finder scope and 102mm guide scope.

An up close look at the mount on the pier.

Hope you enjoyed this little tour of the N S N Observatory.
